We get loads of collared doves in our garden and they’re always in pairs. I love their gentle cooing and lovely soft colour. They actually only arrived in the UK in 1953. They weren’t introduced they arrived on their own quite naturally.
This painting was a gift to my flame-haired nephew, whose totem animal is a red fox, and is shown here for your viewing pleasure.
