An original hand-made, one-off, sculpture – paper mache, wire and acrylic – he stands 250mm tall and 360mm long. Price includes P&P to UK addresses. THIS IS NOT A TOY!
Apaper mache puffin! Say bore da (that’s Welsh for good morning) to Mr Puffin McPuffinface! It’s a paper mache sculpture of an Atlantic puffin (Fratercula arctica) just for fun! Why does he speak Welsh? Because he was hatched and raised on Skomer Island, in West Wales, of course. He’s more folk art than fine art, but perhaps you can see how much fun I had creating him?
Important note: Puffins are suffering from the effects of climate change and their food – mostly sand-eels – is in decline due to warming seas. Please 1. try not to eat puffins if you visit Iceland (they are still consumed there) and 2. consider supporting an environmental charity.
