Wow! These incredibly well-dressed lovelies are blue-breasted kingfishers (Halcyon malimbica) and we saw them in the forests of Gambia in 2014. Although they have this striking cyan and black plumage, complete with matching red beaks and feet, they are actually pretty well camouflaged up in the high branches.
