British birds in spring woodland in a William Morris stylee. The painting shows a green woodpecker, a wood warbler, a nuthatch, a jay and a thrush – just some of the birds that make the ‘song from the wood’. The title of this painting comes from an album by folk-rock band Jethro Tull.
This painting was a gift to my flame-haired nephew, whose totem animal is a red fox, and is shown here for your viewing pleasure.
