This hare-shaped panel is cut from repurposed MDP and hand-painted in acrylics.
The panel is decorated with a peacock butterfly, cornflowers, chamomile, knapweed and cow parsley. Suspended from the lower edge are 5 painted shapes, including two stars, a large central heart with a meadow brown butterfly, and two smaller hearts with flowers.
Hang the panel in your garden during the summer months to add a “wow” of colour to a bare wall or fence. Coated with three layers of varnish, the panel is rain-proof, but will not tolerate prolonged frosts – so please bring him inside (a shed or garage) in the winter.
The original painting has already found a home, sorry! However, you can buy a digital file of this painting for £35, with which you can make a one-off print at a format and size of your choice. Read more about this option…
A painting of the voyage of HMS Beagle, the ship on which Charles Darwin travelled around the world -with particular attention to South America - making discoveries as he went that would change the course of natural science.
This watercolour painting was a very special commission for a fisherman, and is shown here for your viewing pleasure.
Prints are available from Fine Art England.
