Here’s a little painting for all you marine biologists (or marine lovers) out there, of a whale shark feeding frenzy. The biggest fish on earth eats microscopic plankton – tons of it! There are thousands of species of plankton which come in excessively beautiful shapes and forms. Phytoplankton (planktonic plant forms) emit more oxygen than the world’s rainforests!
Whale sharks are completely harmless to anything except plankton.

I spotted a big brown hare in a field margin just outside our village. I'd gone out to admire the hawthorn blossom and cow parsley in the verges, but this lovely creature made my day!
