About White Horses at Cromer
We had a weekend break in Cromer on the Norfolk coast in October 2021. There had been a storm coming in across the North Sea overnight. Nevertheless, we walked along the pier and then up the beach past the beach huts to see the Banksy entitled ‘Luxury Flats’ which he’d spray painted onto a groyne. The weather was wild! Clouds scudded overhead occasionally producing showers, but with patches of blue sky never far behind. Gulls wheeled and tumbled on the easterly wind, which kicked up waves shaped like white horses galloping up the beach.
