Gifts for map lovers

Are you, or is someone you know, a map-a-holic? I have all manner of gifts for map lovers! I cannot remember a time when I didn’t pore over them. It’s inevitable that they spill out into my art. For more than a decade, I have been drawing and painting maps.

Hand painted, with love

I paint maps of places, and make imaginative paintings of concepts or ideas, for example – a map of the Plays of Shakespeare or the Shipping Forecast. My maps are hand drawn and hand painted, using old fashioned paint and brushes on paper. They are not created on a digitally on a computer in any way, shape or form.
