This hand-drawn map of Eynsham shows many of the village’s most notable buildings and as well as its history and nature. A must for anyone who has lived in, worked in or been to school in this vibrant, unsung west Oxfordshire village.
About the map of Eynsham
It started as a little gentle doodle to help guide a friend from the US around the village. It grew quite organically and surprisingly!
It’s my Eynsham and my drawing, so I make no apology for it not being to scale, but you certainly can use it to navigate your way around the village. I drew what I think are the nicest or most important buildings, shops and houses; sketched in some of activities, history, nature and things you can find here or that stand out for me. Of all my hand-drawn maps this one has been the most popular.

This painting celebrates the incredible work of my hero, the scandalously unsung Alfred Russel Wallace. Wallace came up with the theory of natural selection independently of Darwin and established the study of biogeography.
This painting is no longer available, and is shown here for your viewing pleasure and for the glory of Wallace.
