Greetings cards of my phenomenonally popular watercolour painting ‘Attention all shipping‘. This painting won a top award from the British Cartographic Society in 2016.
Card measure 5″ x 7″, are blank inside and come with an envelope. The price you see includes P&P. For anyone who enjoys the shipping forecast – a daily prayer to the weather gods of the North Atlantic – this card will be studied and enjoyed hugely.
The painting includes 30 of the 31 sea areas of the waters around the British Isles: Viking North Utsire, South Utsire, Forties, Cromarty, Forth, Tyne, Dogger, Fisher, German Bight, Humber, Thames, Dover, Wight, Portland, Plymouth, Biscay, FitzRoy, Sole, Lundy, Fastnet, Irish Sea, Shannon, Rockall, Malin, Hebrides, Bailey, Fair Isle, Faeroes, and Southeast Iceland. The missing one is Trafalgar, as it’s a long way south!
The shipping forecast painting is also available as a print and a tea towel.
