About Autumn fox

This is a painting of a red fox trotting through an autumn landscape. I have tried to imbue the whole of this painting with a sense of the continuity and flow of the natural world. The original painting of ‘Autumn fox’ (now sold) was a large canvas, size 999mm x 405mm.

In it you can see a small deceit of lapwings flying in to roost as the day turns to night. Three greylag geese rest in a muddy field near the riverbank. A big red fox seeks out a meal, perhaps some tasty blackberries? The bulrushes are in particularly fine form.

The stalks and dried seed heads of umbelliferous plants (wild, carrot, cow parsley, angelica and the like) intrigue me hugely and so these feature prominently.

This website takes orders from UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Denmark, US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Posting your order

Typically, orders for physical products placed after 12pm on Friday, and on Saturday or Sunday will not be posted until Monday at the earliest. I use Royal Mail to dispatch your order.

If you have ordered multiple items, I will try to post everything together. Occasionally, this is not possible, in which case they will be dispatched in separate packages.

Digital files will typically be transferred to customers within 24 hours via email using WeTransfer, the file transfer website.
