My viewpoint in 'Swimming at Cwm-Yr-Eglwys', looks back towards the beach, and this angle only exists in my mind's eye. Things are clearly not to scale, but when I think of Cwm-Yr-Eglwys, this is what I visualise.

The remains of St Brynach's Church, which was damaged irreparably in storms in the 1850s, is a defining feature of the tiny village.

Whenever we go to Pembrokeshire we visit Cwm-Yr-Eglwys. There's often a spectacular icecream to be had from the van, and it's a wonderful place to bring a fish and chip supper to scoff on the beach. To the right of this view, is the "island" of Dinas Head, which rises through the trees. The circular walk around Dinas is one of my favourite walks in the whole world.

The birds I've illustrated are top right, curlew, top left, a pair of choughs, bottom left, an oystercatcher, bottom right, a cormorant. A grey seal hangs in the water as a dog and a woman take a refreshing swim. Have you been swimming at Cwm-Yr-Eglwys?
